Dinomites U5 Soccer is an introductory soccer program designed to provide an age appropriate family soccer experience for 3 and 4 year old children. This age specific, story based approach is built around the introduction and development of the core motor skills required to play the game of soccer. Encourages active parent participation making the U5 Dinomites program a fun adventure for the whole family!
Sessions will last for one hour on Saturdays for 8 consecutive weeks and will be run by Arek Panfil of UK International. Due to the young age of the children, we do require parent involvement. Note that registration includes a shirt, shorts, soccer socks and a size 3 ball.
Micro Soccer is available for Boys and Girls who are currently in Kindergarten and 1st Grade and is also available for Pre-Kindergarten children in the Spring.
Recreational Soccer is available for Boys and Girls with games played in Burlington for Grades 2-3 while Grades 4-8 may have games in Burlington, Farmington, Avon and Simsbury.
The BJSA board would like to remind everyone that it holds meetings at Town Hall on the 2nd Monday of each month. The yearly elections are in November and we are actively looking for new members and officers. Complete the Parent Volunteer Form and come join us!
BJSA will once again be holding goalkeeper clinics in the Fall. Clinic dates will be posted in August.
The clinics will be run by Barry O'Reilly of UK International. Barry has qualifications from the English Football Association level 1 & 2 and NSCAA Advanced State Goalkeeping Diplomas. Clinics will focus on basic handling, diving, reaction saves & shot stopping, footwork and aerial balls.
Clinics are open to all BJSA players grades 3 through 8. Coaches, please only send those players who have shown an interest in being goalkeepers on a longer term basis.
BJSA car magnets are now available for $5.00 each. This is a great way to show your support for BJSA but more importantly, the funds raised from the sale of these magnets will help us to continue providing our community with a high quality youth soccer program. To order, please send a check for $5.00 to the below address made payable to "BJSA". If you would like the magnet mailed back to you, please add $1.00 for postage or we can arrange to have you pick up your magnet in person.

Some of the highlights include:
Each Fall and Spring playing season, CJSA sponsors a statewide Silent Sidelines weekend. Over the course of this weekend, coaches are permitted to give players direction from the sidelines. Spectators will be directed to refrain from making any comments to players, coaches or referees, but will be permitted to applaud efforts by players. The Spring Silent Sidelines weekend will be the third weekend of May and the Fall Silent Sidelines will be the third weekend of October. Please click here for more details.
